First off, Happy New Year!
I don’t know about you guys, but I feel way out of shape.
Sure, I could start exercising by waking up early and being consistent. But truth is, I’ll start for a few days maybe and then just say – “Ah, who cares…”
So I thought maybe we could do a family challenge before Josh’s wedding to get us all ready for the sun and to get Josh ready for…well, you know
Here’s the proposed format:
- We all weigh in tomorrow, January 4th, 2012, at 7:00 a.m. (or earlier if work is an issue) – BEFORE BREAKFAST.
- The only thing we can be wearing is our bottoms.
- Our spouse has to take a picture of us weighing in AND a picture of the weight number we weigh. (all this information will be kept confidential but has to be submitted in order to declare a “winner”) – we will make this “optional” but I’ve read that taking a picture of the before and after is a great idea. You won’t need to submit the image to all of us, but I recommend doing it for yourself.
- We report this number at this web page: http://natemoller.com/2012-challenge/
- Each of us will need to update our progress every Monday at 7:00 a.m. or earlier on this form
- Our first benchmark will be 90 days from now. The final benchmark will be at Josh’s reception in August. The overall goal is to do whatever it takes to get “In Shape Like Drake”!
- The winner will be the one who has the highest percentage of weight loss.
- A trophy similar to the bowl games trophy will be created for the winner.
I haven’t really thought of a prize yet for the winner and am open to suggestions.
